Preloaded Backlash-eliminating Gear
All gear transmission mechanisms incorporate backlash, which serves to prevent tooth jamming caused by dimensional inaccuracies and thermal deformation, whilst also accommodating the lubricating oil film between tooth surfaces. However, this backlash simultaneously introduces dead travel during reverse operation, compromising the mechanism's positioning accuracy. To address this, we introduce our new backlash-eliminating gear, which achieves zero-backlash transmission when coupled with a rack.
